For more than two decades, Roxanich Winery has represented a proud heritage of winemaking in one of the most picturesque wine-growing landscapes in the world.

Between the heart of Istrian winemaking and the Venetian shores, Mladen Rožanić not only creates strictly limited quantities of wines with a heritage dating back hundreds of years, but also develops wines with unfavored varieties that are just becoming established on the world wine scene, while producing wines in harmony with nature.

"Our selection of 20 organic wines, from light white and full-flavored rosé wines to aged and macerated amber and complex red wines, is divided into three lines: PHILOSOPHY, SORELLE and FIRST ROSES."

Mladen Rožanić embodies that burning passion for the noble art of winemaking. Skills honed in a tireless pursuit of knowledge, hard work and love are the secret ingredients of every bottle of wine he produces. He allows his wines as much time as they need to find their own inner balance. “Patience is a fantastic cellaring technique,” he says, “because wines need time to find each other.” Rožanić’s wine cellar is located inside the hill, just below the hotel. Each of the four levels is dedicated to a specific part of the winemaking process – vinification and maceration, maturation and archiving. The grand finale takes place in the tasting room, where visitors can quietly and deeply immerse themselves in the entire universe of Roxanich wine experiences.
